The photo booth is built on a welded aluminum frame and thick (2mm) aluminum sheet casing - ensuring maximum durability for years of use.
The side and front panels are made from a single sheet of laser-cut aluminum, bent with CNC edge benders. This single-piece design greatly improves durability and aesthetics - eliminating unsightly and damage-prone edge joints.
Competing frames based on screwed aluminum profiles or furniture boards will eventually loosen and lose rigidity, requiring regular servicing.
There are other sheet metal constructions on the market, but they lack an internal support frame and typically use only 1mm thick sheet, resulting in poor durability.
Aluminum naturally dissipates heat. That’s why all heat sinks are made of aluminum. Materials like plexiglass and MDF are poor conductors, and without exhaust fans they cause heat to build up inside the booth, leading to overheating of components like the camera, printer, and computer.
Aside from the printer, our booth has no significant heat sources. The computer is modern and efficiently cooled, and the LED ring light runs on 12V and generates minimal heat (you can safely touch the bulbs after hours of use). Other booths often use CFL bulbs, which produce a lot of heat and offer less light output.
The photo booth is lightweight (segment ~18 kg including all equipment), allowing anyone to easily carry it. Convenient handles on both parts make lifting simple, even without additional cases.
The compact size also matters. A single segment measures 46x86x38cm, making it exceptionally compact. Not everyone has access to a large van for transport.
The booth with accessories (extra supply boxes, gadgets, green screen) can fit even in a small car. In station wagons, everything fits in the trunk space.

The lower box offers space for storing additional consumables, camera bag, or transporting gadgets.
A very practical feature is the printer drawer. Most photo booths on the market use dye-sublimation printers. These are heavy devices (e.g. the Mitsubishi CP-M1E model weighs 17.5kg with media), and the consumables must be changed while the device is connected to power.
The slide-out drawer allows for quick replacement of consumables even during the event – without interrupting the fun. In booths without a drawer, the “procedure” looks like this: pause the party >> remove the external photo tray >> disconnect printer power >> take out the printer >> connect power >> insert media >> wait for calibration >> disconnect power >> insert the printer back >> reconnect power >> reattach the photo tray >> done...

The booth wheels are equipped with special locks for both rotation and movement.
To avoid breaking the external photo tray (usually supplied with the printer), we used an internal metal output tray – it's practical, elegant, and holds many prints. Nothing sticks out from the sides or front of the booth, reducing the risk of someone hitting or damaging it.
The outlet is located on the side (to the right when viewed from the front). This allows people to collect prints without blocking others who want to start a new session.
Additionally, the side-mounted printer position allows lightning-fast paper changes – no need to lift or turn the heavy printer to open the lid.
The booth features a fully integrated power system, with a central module located in the top segment.
Our experience and customer feedback led us to eliminate the external power socket on the side of the booth. Power is supplied from the bottom, with no external sockets on the casing, eliminating the risk of accidental unplugging if someone kicks or pulls the cable during operation.
The internal power module includes a complete distribution board with surge protection, RCDs, circuit breakers, a 12V power supply (for the lamp, coin acceptor, and cooling), and an original power supply for the camera (no cheap replacements).
An optional Flash Light is available. It’s especially useful in places where you don’t want (or can’t) use continuous light – like dark clubs or when special effects are needed (e.g. light painting).
In SMOVE FBOX PRO, flash lighting can be used in four ways:
The first and simplest is using the camera’s built-in flash – it doesn’t require any additional gear and has similar power to E27 threaded bulbs.
The second is our custom ring flash – using a 16cm diameter, 600Ws max flash tube. The generator provides up to 200Ws of power, offering a large margin before the bulb overheats.
The third is an external studio flash with beauty dish – mounted on top of the booth.
The fourth – a flash installed inside the booth.
A great way to enhance the booth’s design is with a custom advertising wrap. This is available as an add-on. The wrap is highly durable, made from thick vinyl and protected with a transparent laminate. You can order a unique design or use one from our library (we’ll add your logo, slogan, and contact info to it).
If you choose this option, you can customize the design – we’ll add your logo, promotional slogan, and contact details (email, phone, etc).
