Entertainment Speed Camera - Photo Installation
How’s your holiday season going? For us, it’s been full-on work mode.
Only now, halfway through the season, we’ve had a moment to show you what we’ve been up to. This time, we’re proud to present a series of photo installations mounted on popular alpine coasters and gravity slides.
You can find them in numerous tourist hotspots (not just in Poland): Karpacz, Szklarska Poręba, Harrachov, Kutná Hora, Špindlerův Mlýn, Pec – just to name a few!
Each installation consists of a standalone photo module and a sales station styled like a wooden hut, gondola, or mountain railway car.
These stations are designed to operate 24/7/365, delivering top-quality photos regardless of weather conditions – be it heat or freezing cold.
The photo module is housed in a durable steel case with IK10 impact protection and IP66 ingress protection rating. This ensures uninterrupted operation even in the harshest environments. The camera and flash lamps are placed behind 10mm-thick tempered glass.
The system allows for remote monitoring and configuration over the internet.
The photo modules are equipped with:
- an industrial-grade computer for uninterrupted 24/7/365 operation,
- a 15-inch touchscreen monitor – essential for system configuration and photo parameter settings,
- a Canon EOS DSLR camera with a bright lens – ensuring top-quality images,
- an internal heating system – ensures flawless performance even at -20°C,
- a ventilation system with dust and water protection,
- internal thermal insulation – helps maintain optimal working temperature,
- 2x 300Ws flash lamps – deliver bright and sharp images even in low light,
- an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) – protects against surges and power loss, providing backup for up to 1 hour,
- an anti-theft alarm with 140dB siren,
- a set of internal and external temperature and humidity sensors – giving full insight into working conditions,
- control electronics – compatible with various types of sensors,
- trigger sensors, selected depending on the type of ride (optical, microwave, or radar-based).
